Honestly, for a shared transfer, a few days to a week is usually enough. If you're going for a private one or it's during a super busy time like Sziget or Christmas, maybe give it more like 2-3 weeks, just to be safe. But I've even booked same-day before when I was in a pinch, though that's probably not ideal.

My experience was about 30 mins max. Sometimes you get lucky and there's a ride leaving almost immediately. But if you land at a weird time or it's not peak season, you might wait a bit longer while they gather enough passengers for the same general direction. They won't make you wait forever though, they have a limit I think.

I used it once, it worked fine. I think it's like 10-15% off, something like that. Just make sure you're actually going through the Wizz Air portal or link, not directly to miniBUD.

Nah, pretty sure you have to pay online when you book. I don't think they take cash.

Definitely pretty sure it's pre-paid online. I've never seen anyone try to pay cash to the driver when I've used them. They confirm your booking and off you go, no money changes hands at pickup.

Is miniBUD better than just grabbing a Főtaxi or Bolt from the airport? Heard mixed things about taxis there.

For sure. With miniBUD you know the price upfront and it's regulated. Taxis can sometimes try to rip you off, especially if you're not from there.

I always use miniBUD for shared transfers. It's usually cheaper than a taxi solo, especially if traffic is bad. Plus, you don't have to worry about getting scammed. Főtaxi is okay from the official stands, but still, miniBUD is just easier for me. Bolt is a wild card sometimes with surge pricing.
